#60381 Need new Mods

Posted by EricTMah on 06 July 2017 - 09:36 AM

Maybe we should get a new moderator who still visits this site to keep those spammers under control.

What do you guys think?

Welcome to C9.

Fun little project.  I say if you have the time, go for it.

lol  You'll have to pry the XRS from my cold dead hands ;)

That's the reason we went with Kia.  I research the s*** out of things I purchase.  The kia came out on top for it's price range and size.  I'm excited for the kia, but it ain't no XRS :D

So the time has come.  The Corolla will be officially be off the road by the end of July this year.

I've had this car since new in 07/2004.  Still love the car.  But since purchasing our home in 2012, we've noticed that the corolla is no longer as practical as we had hoped.  We honestly need something with more storage space, cheap to own, and still under warranty.

We settled on a 2016 Kia Soul EX+  We should be picking the vehicle up this Thursday.  I WILL NOT be selling the XRS.  But it will be going into storage for the next couple of years.

I will still poke my head in here from time to time, and maybe still collect parts for my baby.  But I won't be driving her again for at least a year.

This forum has been great(along with 9GC).  Great group of people, great site with plenty of very helpful information, and a wonderful staff who run this  amazing forum.

Thanks for the amazing 12years, and more to come hopefully.

I've read the same thing about the teins sagging. But I haven't had an issue yet.
They've been on the car since 2005. I don't drive my XRS much anymore. She only has 150,000kms now

Hey bro. It's awesome to hear that my videos inspired some people to go ahead and purchase an Xrs. They are great cars. I still have mine, but it is slightly de-modified compared to a couple years ago. Im still in the scene but I rarely race the Xrs anymore. Maybe if it was on boost that would be a different story

Glad to hear you still have your XRS. I thought you sold it a while ago.

If you want improved brake performance. Invest in a set of SS brake lines. Best brake upgrade I've done

#54643 HELP! Local Fender Rolling

Posted by EricTMah on 01 April 2015 - 10:36 AM

In my experiance, its gonna cost you almost as much as the tool. Also, not too familliar with where exactly kitchener is but there is a rental in missisaga.

Heres a link to the actual tool. It's definatly on my to buy list. For a pro to do it its gonna cost you about a hundred bucks. This is only a little more and if youve got friends that want rolled fenders it might pay for itself.

heres an ebay link to a cheaper one too

i dont know if this will help you at all Eric but I figured id regurgitate the info

Good luck with the spacers!

Dude. You ROCK!!!!

I didn't even think to check Kijiji
I contacted one of the guys. I think I'm going to go the "rent" route. Honestly, none of my friends are into cars anymore. So it would be pointless for me to purchase one.

Thanks again Andrew. You've really helped me out a lot lately.

I'll be posting pics soon.
