matrix bumper swap

Just wondering if anyone had any info on this. My bumper is faling off and i can get body parts fairly cheap either thru my work or thru suppliers.

I just cant find any info on it. Plus in addition to needing a new bumper the matrix definitely looks alot better

A member on here did it...corollas03 is his screen name. If you have an Instagram account, his handle is @rollatrix. I think he posted pics on there.

i don't recall... :blink: i remember someone was trying to mount a Camry rear bumper at one point

I don’t believe it’s going to be a straight bolt-on, there will be fitment issues.
You’ll have to stay within the 1st Gen Matrix (2003 – 2008) for the front bumper.
You’ll definitely want to get XR front bumper or the XRS front bumper.

Keep us in the loop

The later Gen will definitely NOT fit.

A good amount of fabrication and plastic welding and bondo will be needed.
