I like all cars. I've been tossing around the idea of getting an em1 Civic Si ('99-'00) as a daily. I've been digging on those cars for a while....but I want a s*** load of cars...I need to win the lottery.

LOL. Too funny. I started out with Honda (85 Accord Lx, 86 CRX Si, 95 Civic Lx, 94 Accord Lx, 1999 Accord Lx) they were all great cars except for the 94 Accord. It was beat but was when I first started getting serious about modding so experimented quite a bit. Before my love of Toyota, I was and still am a Honda fan.

It's not the Hondas that are the problem it's the drivers that think vtec is the only way of life haha

My most memorable car has to be my 1989 honda accord. Best $200 ever spent. It was my practice fixing crap/modifying car.

Lol... Yeah, the problem isn't that "vtec" was a bad concept, just that the kids bolt on a pep boys muffler and intake and expect their 20 year old vtec engine to be as powerful and efficient as a modern motor with just variable valve timing on a twin cam... Case in point... Person at work was always talking trash about how their h22 swapped 95 accord with i/h/e, would demolish my auto 1zz. I just took their word... Until I had two car lengths consistently on multiple 40-100 pulls. I guess they never considered power to weight ratios, and how much power an old engine loses unless you do a complete rebuild. But hey, I still want a 2007 Acura tl-s with a full panel swap to euro accord type-R.

Not to long ago a few toyotas got together and my boy 2 friends came along one in prelude and the other one an a civic (bubble) he has tons of mods done, also he has a k20 hybrid, the prelude and the civic started racing, I passed them both, the only thing I have is a injen cai on my trix. My point is that some ppl think by putting tons of money on a car they are going to be fast. Is all in the combination you have!! I race anybody win or loose.

Main point have to say is our rollas with lift are pretty quick not the fastest but still mainly all hondas have to have engine swaps for them to have speed with exeption of newer models

^ also, the 9thgen 1zz corolla, is lighter and has more power than any equivalent base 4 door econobox from Honda, Mazda, Nissan, etc... Not that its a power war, but Toyota went with the concept of lighter is better when it comes to fuel economy. I had two tunes for my emanage, eco and dyno tune, on eco (im a member of ecomodder) I was capable of 41mpg hwy... Essentially establishing that a Prius is pointless.

I did a project in university comparing the environmental impacts of a 2007 Toyota Corolla vs a 2007 Prius. (Origins of raw materials, processes of harvest of raw materials, where components are made, where they are assembled, etc...) and I actually got my super green environmental prof to see that hybrids aren't that eco friendly.
